We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of projects from initial concept through to completion. This role plays a critical part in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end project execution for conveyor systems and sawmill equipment, from kickoff through design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and strong relationship management throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, production, procurement, and field services to ensure alignment and timely delivery
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to address potential delays or issues
- Track project costs and ensure adherence to budget, including managing change orders and scope adjustments
- Review technical specifications and drawings to ensure alignment with project requirements and customer expectations
- Facilitate regular project meetings, status updates, and reporting to internal stakeholders and clients
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across all project activities
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance project delivery processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
- 5–8 years of project management experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or heavy equipment environment
- Experience managing projects related to conveyor systems, bulk material handling, or similar industrial equipment is strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes, including fabrication and installation
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Excel)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive and results-oriented mindset
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and external partners
- PMP certification or equivalent is considered an asset
