Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Conveyor Designer at B.I.D. Bulk Material Handling. The Conveyor Designer will be responsible for designing and creating custom conveyor systems, layouts and details, collaborating with consultants and clients, and remaining involved B.I.D.'s fabrication process. This role will primarily be based in Woodstock, NB, but will also allow for some remote work.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of conveyor design principles and industry standards

• Experience in designing and creating custom conveyor systems

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Advanced Steel, SolidWorks, PDM or similar design software

• Knowledge of material handling equipment and processes

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Effective communication and collaboration abilities

• Ability to work independently and remotely, with a proactive approach to work

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field

• Experience in the bulk material handling industry is a plus
